Junkyard

The Junk Yard at Lost Village is a 360° immersive woodland venue filled with decor at every turn. Styled like a ramshackle 1980s–90s junkyard, it has cars and boats to dance on, oversized props in lit shacks, bikes, umbrellas, mannequins, fairground rockets and disco balls in the trees, junk-covered stages and bars, and bathtub seating. It’s a huge playground for us as designers and for the festival goers alike. Built from 95% reclaimed, recycled or reused items—secondhand cars, old cables, retired fairground rides and ex-display mannequins—the space continually grows from unique discarded pieces.
