Cloud Nine Decor is an ever evolving collection of skilled and talented freelance artists, makers and doers.

The company was founded in 2014 by Ruthie Ford, a visual artist with a longtime love of festivals and a passion for creating surreal and magical wonderlands for people to lose themselves in.

From small beginnings installing giant textile flower garden installations with a small team of friends Cloud Nine now provide a range of event decor services; site specific or area wide installation art, set design and dressing, full site wide decor design, build and management. Cloud Nine employ up to 40 freelancers for the larger festivals we work on. Each year we offer opportunities to new makers and we have regular freelance talent returning year on year. The creative and talented people that we work with include set painters, set dressers, installation artists, seamstresses, illustrators, carpenters, construction crew, florists, rope access workers and riggers.
